Detroit Dark Red is the go to red beet for all season slots. Vegetable farmers have been using this vigorous variety since it was introduced by the D.M. Ferry seed company in 1892. This uniform dark red beet has extreme vigor, making it great at out competing weeds. These roots size up uniformly and do well in dense plantings.
