This beautiful red and yellow striped oblong cherry tomato came to us about 7 years ago from famed tomato breeder Fred Hemple of Artisan Seeds. The first years production was ok, but these plants lacked the early season vigor that we desire for our market production work horses. We continued selection, subjecting plants to light early frosts and selecting for the strongest plants in the population based upon production, fruit quality, flavor and most importantly early season vigor. After continued selection, we now offer our first seed of this great cherry tomato with improved vigor, production, crack resistance, and immune response.
