For a few years we have grown this beautiful de-hybridized sun-gold selection that we got from Brown Envelope Seeds in Ireland. At first, these delicious green/yellow cherries lacked vigor in our cool spring soils with cold irrigation water. In 2018 we force frosted our entire population of cherry tomatoes and a single “Gobstopper” survived the test. This specimen plant had substantially more vigor than previous generations and also a beautiful growth habit where the cherry tomatoes where born abundantly on perfectly straight tresses. The flavor is incredible and our customers often call these their favorite of all the cherries we grow. This strain of Gobstopper resists cracking and has become one of our most reliable cherries for market production!
