Experimental Line!

We discovered this exciting new variation as one of the survivors in our a spring tomato frost trials. As the season progressed we realized how special this tomato was with great vigor, heavy fruit sets and great shelf life. This anthocyanin splashed mountain girl  has been one of our top producers in our winter tomato trial as the plants have continued to produce into January in a greenhouse where the air temp is kept just above freezing and soil temps are in the mid to upper 30s. We expect this variety to become a winner as we continue selection and have a limited amount of this years seed to offer for your growing enjoyment!

In our 2025 season we grew out a number of Casey’s lines of this superstar tomato as a way to better familiarize ourselves with what the populations are looking like .  We found a fair amount of diversity in terms of traits like color and shape, but all plants were vigorous with approachable sized fruit that have great shelf life.  This seed is the selection of strongest plants that had definitively red fruit.
